Purdue University, according to their research, found in laboratory tests that epigallocatechin gallate (EGCg) contained in green tea killed human breast cancer cells. However it did not kill noncancerous human breast cells.

Studies conducted in both Europe and America has indicated drinking tea has an advantageous effect on cardiovascular health. Studies are showing healthy people drinking tea seem to have more protection from heart attacks.

A Dutch study reported an inverse relationship of drinking two or more cups of tea with heart attacks. Over a thirty percent reduction of non fatal heart attacks were reported from their study from those drinking tea. This study also has shown a seventy percent reduction of fatal heart attacks for tea drinkers.

A similar study conducted in America found an association with drinking tea and a reduction of heart attacks of over forty percent. These studies show drinking green tea is not just food for your immune system. It is also an improvement for your heart's health.

Green tea is "super charged" food for your immune system. It also provides a boost for many other aspects of your health such as assisting with cholesterol levels, aiding blood sugar regulation as well as additional support in many other aspects for good health and well being.
